OnePaisa is an independent financial-comparison platform for India. Every guide carries a named byline, and each vertical has one editor who owns it — but a name is not what makes a guide trustworthy. The process below is: what we source from, what we refuse to publish, and how we correct what we get wrong.
One editor owns each vertical, so the same person is accountable for every guide in that topic area. Each article is written under that byline and then reviewed against this policy before it is published — that review is what the “Reviewed by OnePaisa Editorial Team” line on each article refers to.
What we do not claim. Our author bios describe what each editor covers and how their work is checked. They do not claim certifications, degrees, employers or years of experience, because those would be checkable claims — and we hold a claim about a person to the same standard as a claim about an interest rate. For the same reason, bylines carry a monogram rather than a photograph: we would rather show no face than a stock or generated one.

A rating appears only when we've actually assessed the product against these criteria — reviews without a rating simply don't show a score.
